XLNative is designed to run locally on your Mac and read data from your local TWS / IB Gateway session.
Local operation
XLNative runs on your Mac. It reads data from your local TWS / IB Gateway session and makes that data available to Excel through the XLNative add-in.
IBKR login
You sign in directly to TWS or IB Gateway as usual. Trelliq Labs does not need your IBKR username or password. XLNative connects to the API session exposed by TWS or IB Gateway on your computer and works with read-only API access, which is recommended.
Market data
Trelliq Labs does not sell market data. XLNative uses the IBKR data available to your TWS / IB Gateway session, subject to the permissions and subscriptions on your IBKR account.
Licensing
If licensing is added later, license validation may involve your email address, license key, and subscription status. License validation would not require your IBKR username or password.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic exports may include logs that are useful for support, such as connection status, configuration details, and error messages. Review diagnostic exports before sending them to support.
